VV Organized Awareness Campaign in Kupwara to Counter COVID-19 Misinformation

There are several rumors and unverified information related to COVID-19 floating around everywhere in the country, including Kashmir. People from Kupwara say they won't take the vaccine as they have heard that youngsters who take it will not be able to produce children in the future.

To counter this misinformation, Video Volunteers' Community Correspondent Pir Azhar and other like minded organisations came together to bust these myths. They jointly organised a public health session where healthcare professionals took direct questions from those present and answered them all patiently.

Local residents, after the awareness camp, said they are happy that their concerns have been addressed and now they will go ahead and take the vaccine and encourage others to do so as well.
